Alright, so I'm a bit late with the happy new years bit, but that's alright.

Thought I'd update, because I haven't done it in ages and ages, and let everyone know what's happened in the last year, and what's happening now, and what's going to happen.

2008 was a pretty good year for me. I had pieces in two exhibitions: Petal Pushers (at the Kirkorian Gallery at Worcester Center for Crafts in Worcester, MA) and Postal Cards and Postage Stamps (at the Carpenter Foundation Vitreous Enamel Center and Museum in Bellvue, KY) as well as two exhibitions through my school. I was also accepted into the Mesa Contemporary Arts' 30th Annual Contemporary Arts exhibition in Mesa, Arizona, which will be open from January 23-March 15 in 2009.

I've got five more months until I get my bachelors in crafts. I'm taking winter break off in a way to do studies for new pieces and some recreational crafting (knitting, mostly) to keep myself balanced. I expect that I'll be ready to go when I get back to school in two weeks or so.

Meanwhile, I've been working on getting my web presence put together. So, if you're on Flickr or Blogspot, feel free to follow or friend me. I'd like to pretend that I'm not just shouting into the void. (And if you want to buy pieces, I've got an Etsy site as well, which will go active again when I get back to Philadelphia on the 20th or so.)
